Continuing its commitment to support basic education in the Philippines, Wallenius has donated its seventh Kinder classroom/library with counterpart support from AGAPP Foundation and PTC-CSJ Foundation.

The beneficiary of the new classroom/library is Sta. Rita Elementary School in Minalin, a fourth-class municipality in the province of Pampanga.

The turnover ceremony was held on May 30, 2024 with Wallenius Lines AB’s Vice President for Special Projects Mr. Jan Berglöw and PTC-CSJ Foundation’s Executive Director Ms. Flory A. Tabio.

The School Principal, Mr. Ariel Bajares, expressed thanks and gratitude on behalf of the school and the first batch of 40 Kinder students (with 20 students per class), who started using the new classroom during the last quarter of SY 2023 – 2024.

In addition to the classroom/library, the donation also included chairs, tables and other furniture, books, and educational materials and supplies.
