The NFS Project aims to introduce shipping as an education and a career to students. From 2014-2019, the Project supported a first batch of two scholars taking up BS Maritime Transportation and BS Marine Engineering degrees at Malayan Colleges Laguna (MCL), a Mapua School. Starting SY 2019-2020, a second batch of six scholars taking the same courses above at MCL have received full scholarship support until they graduate in 2022. The NFS-Batch 2 Project is supported by TK Foundation through a grant administered by the Orange County Community Foundation.
