On March 21, 2014, Bayanan Elementary School Main (BESM) in Muntinlupa City organized the Annual Reading Festival for SY 2013-2014 participated in by more than 700 Grades 1 and 2 pupils.

BESM’s teachers prepared all activities and materials for the one day event which included story telling, games and arts, all aimed to demonstrate to students that learning can be fun and educational.

The Reading Festival is a learning enrichment activity that is part of the PTC-CSJ Foundation’s flagship program, Growing Good to Great Kids or 3G, going on its fourth year of implementation in BESM by SY 2014-2015.

The PTC-CSJ Foundation implements the 3G Program in partnership with Synergeia Foundation, an NGO that actively works to improve the quality of basic education in the country.
