Wallenius Donates a New Kinder Classroom

The PTC-CSJ Foundation and Wallenius Marine AB recently turned over a new Kinder Classroom/library to Maragondon Elementary School (MES) in Maragondon, Cavite, in partnership with AGAPP Foundation.

AGAPP Foundation is engaged in the construction and development of library/pre-school classrooms (“Silid Pangarap”) in public schools designated by the Department of Education in depressed and disadvantaged communities.

Wallenius’ financial grant supported the construction of the library/pre-school classroom complete with chairs, tables, shelves, blackboards and other furniture, books, school materials and supplies; training for the current teachers on the Curriculum; and building home-school-community partnerships with the families of the children studying in the School.

The new Kinder Classroom/library is now used every school day by four Kinder classes of about 20 pupils per class.
