Wallenius Donates Second Kinder Classroom

The PTC-CSJ Foundation recently turned over a new Kinder Classroom/library to its 3G partner-School, Lakeview Elementary School (LES) in Muntinlupa City in partnership with AGAPP Foundation.

AGAPP Foundation is engaged in the construction and development of pre-school classrooms/libraries (“Silid Pangarap”) in public schools designated by the Department of Education in depressed and disadvantaged communities.

The Kinder classroom/library in LES is the second that Wallenius has donated through PTC-CSJ Foundation. The grant from Wallenius supported the construction of the Kinder classroom/library complete with chairs, tables, shelves, blackboards and other furniture; books, school materials and supplies; and training for LES’ Kinder teachers on the Curriculum.

The turnover ceremonies held on July 23, 2015 was attended by PTC-CSJ Trustees Mr. Gerardo Borromeo and Mrs. Christina Manzano, AGAPP Chairperson Mrs. Pinky Aquino-Abellada, Muntinlupa City Administrator Engr. Allan Cachuela and LES Principal Mrs. Buena dela Cruz.

The new Kinder Classroom/library is now used every school day by four classes of about 130 pupils.
