Wallenius Donates Fourth Kinder Classroom/Library

Continuing its commitment to support basic education in the Philippines, Wallenius Marine AB has donated its fourth Kinder classroom/library through the PTC-CSJ Foundation, in partnership with AGAPP Foundation.

The new classroom's happy and grateful beneficiaries are the preschool pupils of Bucal II Elementary School in Maragondon, Cavite. It is the second Kinder classroom/library that Wallenius has donated to the third class municipality.

The turnover ceremonies held on July 20, 2017 was attended by Wallenius Deputy CEO Mr. Jan Berglöw, PTC-CSJ President Mrs. Carla S. Limcaoco and Executive Director Ms. Flory A. Tabio, AGAPP Chairman Mr. Gerry Esquivel and Executive Director Mr. Eddie Galvez, together with Maragondon Mayor Rey Rillo and officials of the Department of Education-Cavite and the beneficiary-school.

Wallenius' support included the construction of the classroom/library complete with chairs, tables and other furniture, books, materials and supplies, as well as training for the School's teachers on the Department of Education’s Kindergarten curriculum.
