PTC-CSJ Distributes Books Donated by Carmel Mission Basilica

Last July, PTC-CSJ Foundation’s Trustee and PTC’s CEO, Mr. Gerardo A. Borromeo, received a generous donation of approximately 18,000 books from the Carmel Mission Basilica of California.

In turn, PTC-CSJ and PTC units have been distributing the books to public schools around the country. The latest to receive almost 2,000 books are PTC-CSJ’s 12 partner public elementary schools in Muntinlupa City.

Thus far, 15 public schools have received a total of 3,000 books.

With the dearth of books in their libraries/reading rooms, all beneficiary schools have gratefully appreciated the “gifts of knowledge” for their young learners.

The books are for Kinder to Grade 8, covering a range of subjects such as English, Math, Science, and Religion, and includes textbooks, storybooks, encyclopedias, and dictionaries as well.
