Wallenius Donates Fifth Kinder Classroom/Library

Continuing its commitment to support basic education in the Philippines, Wallenius has donated its fifth Kinder classroom/library through the PTC-CSJ Foundation, in partnership with AGAPP Foundation.

The turnover ceremonies held on April 15, 2019 was attended by Wallenius Lines AB’s Vice President-Special Projects Mr. Jan Berglöw, PTC-CSJ President Mrs. Carla S. Limcaoco and Executive Director Ms. Flory A. Tabio, and AGAPP’s Executive Director Mr. Eddie Galvez.

The new classroom was formally received by Tulay Elementary School Principal Mr. Romeo del Rio, as well as the first batch of 80 Kinder pupils who had already used the classroom in SY 2018-2019.

Wallenius' support covered the construction of the classroom/library complete with chairs, tables and other furniture, books, materials and supplies and training for the School's Kindergarten teachers on the preschool curriculum.
