15th Anniversary Milestone

Painting the Future: PTC-CSJ Foundation celebrates 15 Years with a Colorful School Mural

Published: 26 March 2025

The PTC-CSJ Foundation celebrated its 15th anniversary in a meaningful way by bringing color and creativity to the walls of Muntinlupa Elementary School (MES). On March 25, 2025, 32 PTCitizens volunteered their time and artistic talent to paint a vibrant marine-themed mural, commemorating both PTC’s 46th anniversary and the Foundation’s 15 years of service to the community.

The 20 x 1.5-meter wall at MES transformed into a stunning underwater scene filled with corals, seaweeds, dolphins, fishes, and a majestic turtle. A lighthouse and a ship were also featured, symbolizing PTC’s commitment to maritime excellence and education. As a partner school of PTC-CSJ Foundation, MES became the perfect canvas for this creative collaboration, fostering a more inspiring learning environment for its students.

Adding to the spirit of volunteerism, some students who arrived early for their afternoon classes were invited to take part in the on-the-spot painting, enthusiastically contributing their own artistic touches. Later, two young learners proudly returned with their parents to showcase their creations, highlighting the mural as not just a piece of art, but a shared experience of community, learning, and celebration.

Renowned muralist, photographer, and environmental activist Mr. AG Saño drew the sketches on the wall with help from his three artist-friends.
