Wallenius Donates Seventh Kinder Classroom/Library

Continuing its commitment to support basic education in the Philippines, Wallenius has donated its seventh Kinder classroom/library with counterpart support from AGAPP Foundation and PTC-CSJ Foundation.

The beneficiary of the new facility is Sta. Rita Elementary School in Minalin, a fourth-class municipality in the province of Pampanga. The donation provides a dedicated learning space designed to foster literacy and early childhood development.

The turnover ceremony was held on May 30, 2024, attended by Wallenius Lines AB’s Vice President for Special Projects Mr. Jan Berglöw and PTC-CSJ Foundation’s Executive Director Ms. Flory A. Tabio. School Principal Mr. Ariel Bajares expressed deep gratitude on behalf of the 40 Kinder students who have already begun using the classroom.

In addition to the physical structure, the donation included comprehensive support for a "reading-ready" environment, including chairs, tables, specialized furniture, a diverse collection of books, and essential educational materials and supplies.
