PTC and PTC-CSJ Foundation donated 15 refurbished desktops through Synergeia Foundation’s campaign to distribute old but still usable computers to students from disadvantaged families in Metro Manila.
Synergeia completed the distribution of the desktops last March. With almost all of the 15 beneficiary families having at least two children in school, a total of 34 students now use the desktops for their blended learning at home.
Family members now share a desktop for their online modules.
Students are now able to participate in blended learning more effectively.
One beneficiary, a single mom, expressed her gratitude: “I have two daughters in grade school. I usually just borrowed my friend’s mobile phone or went to a computer shop to download my daughters’ online modules. The desktop is truly a very big help. Thank you very much.”

This initiative bridges the digital divide for underserved families, ensuring that no student is left behind as education transitions to digital platforms.
