The PTC-CSJ Foundation, in collaboration with WWF-Philippines and DepEd-Muntinlupa, successfully conducted the Division’s first-ever virtual demonstration teaching on April 29-30 and May 3-4, 2021.
This initiative is part of the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) Project. Throughout the first quarter of the year, teacher training and ESD sessions with students were transitioned fully online to ensure the continuity of environmental education despite pandemic restrictions.
A total of 16 WWF-trained teachers from 10 public elementary school partners participated in the demo teaching. Students also played a vital role, showcasing their proficiency in digital tools and apps such as Kahoot, Mentimeter, and Google Forms to facilitate interactive learning.
The participating educators successfully demonstrated the integration of sustainable development concepts into various core subjects, including Science, Math, Filipino, and Araling Panlipunan. This milestone marks a significant step in institutionalizing modern, tech-enabled teaching strategies within the Muntinlupa school division.
