PTC-CSJ Reports 2018 Accomplishments to DepEd-Muntinlupa

PTC-CSJ Foundation Executive Director, Ms. Flory Tabio, met with DepEd-Muntinlupa Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Mauro C. de Gulan on January 24 to present the Foundation’s annual report and upcoming initiatives for 2019.

The 2018 highlights featured significant progress across the Foundation’s core educational pillars:

  • 3G Program Expansion: Flagship "Growing Good to Great Kids" program was successfully replicated in its fifth school, Alabang Elementary School.
  • Reading Camp Success: Year 3 of the summer remedial reading and feeding intervention saw Mean Percentage Scores jump from 51% to 87% among 441 slow and non-readers.
  • Global Awareness: The "My Ship, My World" project reached nearly 10,000 pupils through weekly correspondence between 40 Captains and 44 teachers.
  • Financial Literacy: Educational seminars benefited 148 Alternative Learning System (ALS) students and 83 public school teachers.

Ms. Tabio was joined at the meeting by partners from the Synergeia Foundation and the Principals of PTC-CSJ’s adopted schools in Muntinlupa: Bayanan ES Main, Lakeview Integrated School, Sucat ES Main, and Muntinlupa ES.
