PTC-CSJ Foundation’s flagship education initiative, Growing Good to Great Kids or the 3G Program, has officially entered its sixth year of implementation in Muntinlupa City as of January 2016.
The Foundation’s Executive Director, Ms. Flory Tabio, recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) renewing the multi-sectoral partnership. Key partners include the Synergeia Foundation, the Junior Baseball Softball Foundation of the Philippines (JBSFP), and the Department of Education – Division Office of Muntinlupa City.
For this milestone year, the program supports three partner-beneficiary schools: Bayanan Elementary School – Main (BESM), Lakeview Elementary School (LES), and its newest partner, Sucat Elementary School – Main (SESM).
Prior to the formal signing, Ms. Tabio presented the 3G Program’s 2015 accomplishments and 2016 strategic targets to DepEd-Muntinlupa Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Mauro C. De Gulan. The upcoming activities will continue to focus on four core pillars: nutrition enhancement, learning enrichment, sports development through baseball, and specialized training for both parents and teachers.
In addition to these efforts, the Foundation has announced plans to conduct financial literacy seminars for over 400 technical-vocational students of the Muntinlupa Alternative Learning System (ALS) in March 2016, further extending the Foundation's commitment to community empowerment.
