The PTC-CSJ Foundation and Wallenius Marine AB recently turned over a new Kinder classroom and library to Maragondon Elementary School (MES) in Maragondon, Cavite, in partnership with the AGAPP Foundation.
AGAPP Foundation is dedicated to the construction and development of library and pre-school classrooms, known as “Silid Pangarap,” in public schools designated by the Department of Education in depressed and disadvantaged communities.
Wallenius’ financial grant supported the comprehensive development of the facility. This included the construction of the library and pre-school classroom fully equipped with chairs, tables, shelves, blackboards, and other essential furniture. The grant also provided a selection of books, school materials, and supplies to enrich the learning experience.

Beyond the physical structure, the initiative included specialized training for teachers on the updated curriculum and the building of strong home-school-community partnerships with the families of the students. The new facility is now in daily use by four Kinder classes, benefiting approximately 80 young learners in the Maragondon community.
