Over 700 pupils from Bayanan Elementary School Main (BESM) gather for the SY 2013-2014 Reading Festival.

On March 21, 2014, Bayanan Elementary School Main (BESM) in Muntinlupa City organized its Annual Reading Festival for the school year, bringing together more than 700 pupils from Grades 1 and 2 for a day dedicated to the joy of literacy.

The festival is a cornerstone learning enrichment activity of the PTC-CSJ Foundation’s flagship program, Growing Good to Great Kids (3G). Now moving into its fourth year of implementation at BESM, the 3G Program continues to foster holistic student development through partnership with the Synergeia Foundation.

The event’s success was driven by the dedicated faculty of BESM, who prepared a wide array of activities and materials. The one-day program featured storytelling, interactive games, and creative arts and crafts—all meticulously designed to demonstrate to students that learning can be both educational and immensely fun.
