3G Partner-Schools Celebrate National Reading and Children’s Month

November celebrates two notable events in the Department of Education (DepEd)’s calendar – National Children’s Month and National Reading Month.

In partnership with Synergeia Foundation, PTC-CSJ celebrated these events through the conduct of two learning enrichment activities with its three partner-Schools in Muntinlupa City – Bayanan Elementary School-Main (BESM), Lakeview Integrated School (LIS) and Sucat Elementary School (SES).

On Nov. 17 and 18, the three Schools organized their respective Annual Reading Festival.  The one-day event in each school included various activities to develop and enhance the pupils’ love for reading.

On the other hand, on Nov. 26, Saturday, pupils (and parents) of the three Schools braved the rains to participate in a half-day program with Museo Pambata staff and its Mobile Library.  

The fun-filled, interactive and educational sessions – which included story-telling, arts and crafts and other activities – highlighted children’s rights and responsibilities to celebrate National Children’s Month.

Learning enrichment, together with nutrition enhancement/feeding, sports development through baseball and training for parents and teachers are the components of PTC-CSJ’s flagship 3G Program.
