PTC-CSJ Foundation’s Executive Director Ms. Flory Tabio recently made a courtesy call to DepEd’s new Schools Division Superintendent (SDS) for Muntinlupa, Dr. Mauro C. de Gulan.

Ms. Tabio gave Dr. de Gulan a brief overview of the Foundation’s initiatives in Muntinlupa City for the past five years, most notably its flagship program, Growing Good to Great Kids or 3G Program.

She explained that the 3G Program is a holistic approach that includes nutrition enhancement, learning enrichment in arts and reading, sports development through baseball, and training for parents and teachers.

The 3G Program’s beneficiary Schools are Bayanan Elementary School Main (BESM) and Lakeview Elementary School (LES).

Ms. Tabio added that the Foundation also expects to turn over in June 2015 a new Kinder Classroom/Library to LES, in partnership with AGAPP Foundation.

Dr. de Gulan emphasized that DepEd always appreciates the critical support of partners like PTC-CSJ. In particular, he noted the Foundation’s sustained efforts in Muntinlupa and said he hopes that these would result to concrete impacts, most especially on the two Schools’ National Achievement Test (NAT) results.

The respective School Principals, BESM’s Mr. Antonio C. Gagala and LES’ Ms. Marissa M. Andanza, assured Dr. de Gulan that they would continue to exert all efforts to improve their Schools’ NAT results.
